Two weeks ago, Gunn/Jerkens hosted the first-ever Social Media Mingle, a very exciting seminar for our clients and associates. At the event, we covered the trends, benefits and best practices of some of the most widely used social platforms. It was extremely fun, and we can’t wait to see what happens in the coming months.

My co-presenter Steffan and I were anxious to see how the clients would embrace all of the info that was thrown before them, but we were tremendously pleased to hear the enthusiasm and gratitude in their responses. If you’re asking if social media efforts will yield overnight results, then the answer would be no. It’s really a marketing tool before a sales tool.
