It’s not easy to find a job in this economy, much less your dream job. But Eric Romer used ingenuity and social media sites to land a role as Marketing Manager at Headblade, Inc., marketing a product that he had been using for over four years.
After seeing a tweet from Headblade about the job opening, Eric launched a Facebook page, Twitter account and a blog to express his interest in the position and, in the process, his understanding of the power of social media. It only took eight hours before Headblade contacted him, and just one day later he was being interviewed by the CEO and founder of the company.
What happened from there? Let’s just say that he’s had to launch a new site: HeadbladeHiredMe.com. His first official day at Headblade is on Monday, January 11!
All of us at Gunn/Jerkens welcome him to Southern California!

Awesome story, Richard!
Also, for those that didn’t know, the Headblade is a truly ingenious 21st century invention that combines the sharp, hair-shaving properties of razorblades with the fast-paced excitement of Hot Wheels.
Wow! Resumes are clearly out! This is was a great story. Thank you for sharing Richard.
