It's nowhere near as mind-blowingly big and sprawling, but you can get a pretty good musty-book-browsing experience at Planet Books over on Anaheim. There's even the requisite lazy, bookstore cat! It was tough seeing such an important landmark close its doors. I'm happy to see that they are doing something with this building though, even if it means I can't sit on the dusty floor and flip through hundreds of books about pirates, traveling and Greek history.
