It means that when someone requests your friendship, adds a comment on your profile, sends you a message, etc., you will be notified by your trusty iPhone – or Droid… if you’re one of those people .

Honestly, this may seem like the smallest improvement to many, but for me staying in the know is crucial. Version 3.1 allows you to customize which notifications you would like to receive as well, so you won’t necessarily be overwhelmed during the day. So fabulous.
