What were you doing last night? Cleaning up after dinner? Watching television or reading a good book? Well, we know what some powerful people in Washington were up to: extending the homebuyer tax credit for another seven months and broadening the offer to include move-up buyers. This is big news for homebuilders and new home communities!

The new credit will hit the floor within the next couple of days as Democrats and Republicans come to agreements on related issues. So if you have been waiting for your chance to buy a new home, but felt as though you were being excluded from tax benefit party, then it may be time to put on those dancing shoes.
